State-of-the-art technology for fault analysis.

Zanini Renk has state-of-the-art technology to evaluate the operating conditions of gear units. The objective is to identify nonconformities and/or improvements in the system, aiming at greater reliability to the user. The analysis is based on:

• Data collection in the field, such as: mapping of the installation conditions (evaluation of the foundation and laser alignments); boroscopy; vibration collection and analysis; measurement of torque via stream gage;
• Collection of data at the factory, such as: complete survey with controls, dimensions, including in CNC controller; non-destructive tests (ultrasound, penetrating liquid, magnetic particle, rollscan); destructive tests (metallographic analysis; hardness profile);
• Analysis of data collected by vibration specialists and engineering team. Root cause search and improvements with the help of finite element computational software.
